Gradient love

I had a blast creating this phoenix logo for National Heritage Academy, combining both bird and flame. I'm just starting to experiment with the
use of gradient, and I'm in love! It was honestly something that was hard for me to experiment with because it's so engrained in my head that 
gradients are cheesy and out of date. After a little experimentation, I totally disagree. I'm all about the tasteful, appropriate use of color. It's all about time and place, people!
